The colors you choose in your living space are a direct reflection of your personality. While most of us do not spend a lot of time thinking about the colors we use in decoration, colors affect our mood, emotions, actions and thoughts at every moment. So you don't have to worry about trends for a well-designed space. The main element is to choose the right tones reflecting your personality and create the right effect on you, and bring them together in harmony with the space.
Color is an integral element of our world, not only in the natural environment, but also in the man-made architectural environment. Color has always played a role in the evolutionary process of man. Colors working with vibrational energy have important effects on our psychology.
Empirical observations and scientific studies, especially in recent years, have proven that color perception greatly affects sensory perception in human-environment interaction in the architectural environment. These studies include psychology, architectural psychology, color psychology, neuropsychology, visual ergonomics, psychosomatics and similar disciplines.
In addition to scientific studies, colors are of great importance according to the Chinese teaching of Feng Shui, which aims to create healthy spaces by activating the life energy existing in nature in spaces. Chakra colors in Feng Shui teaching are colors that reveal energy and provide empowerment. The color tones that our chakras, that is, our main energy centers, are connected to direct our physical body as well as our spiritual, emotional and mental body. Each of our chakras, which are the points where our energy flows, is associated with a color, and adding these colors to your life by being aware of them can help open and activate the flow of energy and movement in the relevant chakra. Considering the fact that color affects people in many different ways depending on factors such as gender, age, ethnicity and climate, it would be best to start by asking some basic questions about the area you are designing for accurate color determination. Determine the feeling you want to evoke in the space. For example, you may want to increase appetite and energy in the kitchen. Creating peace and quiet in the living room may be your priority. Maybe you want to have a mysterious bedroom or add some energy to your balcony.

The presence of natural lighting in the space and determining the light intensity to be used also play an important role in color selection, because depending on the light source, the color may look very different. For example, when choosing a wall paint, testing the color in both natural and artificial light before applying it will always ensure you make the right decision.

We can examine the color issue in space design by referring to many different methods. However, based on my research on the psychology of space, we believe that examining the effects of the colors you may prefer in some spaces, from decorative objects, fabrics, wall and cabinet colors, based on primary colors and chakra colors, will be a good guide in revealing spaces that feel "GOOD"...
